Teletext Holidays Reports 86% Surge in Group Bookings

London, UK – [23.09.25]
Teletext Holidays has reported a sharp rise of 86% in group bookings year-on-year, as more holidaymakers turn to expert call-to-book services.
The brand says many online booking platforms are not designed for parties larger than nine, leaving organisers struggling to coordinate dates, destinations and budgets. By contrast, one call to Teletext Holidays gives customers access to expert advice, ATOL-protected packages and the reassurance of a dedicated agent to handle every detail.
So far this year, the average group size is 13 people, with several far larger – including a group of 57 to Sharm el Sheikh, a 46-strong party to Antalya and a 42-person booking to the Algarve.
The most popular destinations for groups in 2025 include Antalya (Turkey), Tenerife, Morocco, and Egypt. Group travellers are favouring 4* and 5* all-inclusive resorts, especially those with waterparks and large pools, which make budgeting easier for families and friends travelling together.
Ricky Durrance from Teletext Holidays said:
“We’ve seen group bookings nearly double compared to last year, and it’s easy to see why. Customers want value and choice, but they also want to book stress-free. Online checkouts simply aren’t built for the needs of big parties. One call to our experts solves it all – from multiple rooms to split payments – ensuring customers get the best deal with full protection.”
Teletext predicts group holidays will continue to grow as one of the strongest travel trends for 2026 and beyond – proof that sometimes the most straightforward way to book is still the best: picking up the phone.
